Our standard check-in time is 2:00 PM, and check-out time is 10:00 AM. If you require an early check-in or late check-out, please contact our front desk, and we will do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.

Our front desk is open 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM Hawaii Standard Time (HST).
Is breakfast included?
Yes, we are pleased to offer a daily complimentary hot breakfast buffet, available to all registered guests from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Please indicate any dietary restrictions at the time of booking, and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. However, please be aware that our kitchen is not allergen-free, and while we take precautions, we cannot guarantee that any menu item is completely free of allergens, as our kitchen handles various ingredients.
Is Kamuela Inn pet-friendly?

Is Kamuela Inn a smoke-free property?
Yes, Kamuela Inn is a 100% smoke-free property. This includes all guest rooms and common areas. We kindly ask guests to respect this policy.
Do you have on-site guest laundry facilities?
Yes, for your convenience, on-site guest laundry facilities are available for our guests to use during their stay. Washers and dryers are coin-operated, and change for quarters may be made at the front desk during office hours.
Where is Kamuela Inn located, and is it easy to find?
Kamuela Inn is conveniently located in the heart of Waimea, set back from Kawaihae Road (H19) to ensure privacy and quiet. Please note that due to county ordinances, we do not have a street-facing directory sign, which can sometimes make us a bit challenging to find, especially in the dark. We recommend using the Google Maps link provided in your confirmation email for directions.
Is parking available on property and is there a fee?
Yes, we offer complimentary on-site parking for our guests.
Do you have internet access?
Yes, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the Inn for all our guests.
Is there a pool or hot tub on property?
No, Kamuela Inn does not have a pool or hot tub on the property.
Do guest rooms have air conditioning?
While our guest rooms do not have air conditioning, the Waimea climate is typically cool and comfortable. Each room is equipped with a ceiling fan above every bed to ensure your comfort.
What amenities do the rooms have?
Our newly renovated rooms feature plush pillowtop mattresses and luxurious sheets, along with delightful organic Ola Tropical Apothecary bath amenities made in Hilo. Each room also includes a ceiling fan.
Do I need a credit card to make a reservation?
Yes, a valid credit card is typically required to guarantee your reservation.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Our cancellation policy varies depending on the rate and time of booking. Please refer to your reservation confirmation for specific details, or contact our front desk for assistance.
Does Kamuela Inn provide airport pick up/drop off?
We do not offer complimentary shuttle service. Transportation services to and from the Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport (KOA) may be arranged with our recommended vendor, Big Island Transportation. Please note that rates are subject to change.
